A friendly rounders club for women of every ability. No experience needed, no sign-up in advance, and your first session is free. Just turn up on a Thursday.
*Training occasionally moves for league games, and the winter venue (Nov–Apr) is TBC. Drop us a message before your first session.

No experience needed
Whether you last played at school or never at all, you’ll fit right in. Play as much or as little as you like.
Weekly training
Fun, relaxed and social sessions every Thursday. Learn to bat, bowl and field at your own pace.
Competitive play
Fancy a match? We play in the Manchester Women’s Rounders League, and it’s completely optional.
A social team
It’s about more than rounders. Many of us head to the pub after training, and there are regular socials through the year.
Your first session, in three steps
No forms, no trial booking. If you’re nervous, message us first and we’ll look out for you.

Turn up*
Thursday, 6:30pm on the grassy field at Stamford Park, between the car park and Queen’s Road.

Have a go
We’ll show you the basics of batting, bowling and fielding. Just wear trainers and comfy kit.

Stay for a drink
Join us at the pub afterwards. It’s the best way to get to know the team.
*Worth a quick message first: league games occasionally move training in summer, and the winter (Nov–Apr) venue is still to be confirmed.
Our story
Started in the park, May 2025
We started at Stamford Park in May 2025 as a fun way for local women to get active. Now we’ve got members from across Altrincham, Hale, Bowdon, Timperley, Broadheath, Lymm, Stockport and the surrounding areas, and a team in the Manchester Women’s Rounders League.
